I updated my design, because I found that the "gripping" part was giving the motor too much resistance and making printing problematic. Because of this, I am taking down the old STL file.
I swapped which side was doing the gripping, and which was doing the guiding. On top of that I also added a circular tail storage which stores the excess tail when not in use.
Helps feed filament up to printer from below. I use a Flashforge Adventurer 5M, which has a rear-fed bowden tube. My filament spools are on a holder which sits under my desk, so as to hide them. I wanted a way to feed the filament upwards from the spool holder itself, so I needed something to act as a guide, but also hold the filament in place loosely enough to allow the extruder to pull the filament, but tightly enough to keep the filament from falling through to the floor.
If you have a very niche need like mine, hopefully this helps!
