The part that slips in to the clips was almost 2mm wide and I'd have had to sand half of it away to get it to fit. This one simply clips off 1mm of it so that it fits nicely. I'm not sure if our MP Mini is newer and they've changed the size of the clips in later models (ours purchased December 2017) but it's definitely not as wide as the original.
Also, I went back to the original and used Blender to slice out the pins needed. Print 3 of them, obviously.

Printed it upside down for smaller amount of support. Makes the "top" (once it's mounted) not as pretty, but 99% of the time it will have a spool on it, so you can't see it.
Used thicker walls to make the structure stronger: 1.2mm.Источник модели
