To keep my permanently outside mount's electronics dry I redesigned a box found here on Thingiverse.
I use Silica gel beads that change color when saturated.
My mount is double covered and I found that the Silica lasts 3 weeks, might be longer in Summer we"ll see.
In any case, this works well, my mount is nice and dry.
