Originally designed as an April Fool's prank, this is a seemingly simple puzzle. Without set-up, a person will likely recognize it as unsolvable. However, the evil plan goes like this

1. Identify someone in your life who likes brain teasers and puzzles. Give them a relatively simple puzzle like one of the easier ones from this: https://amzn.to/3Y2PKLl 
    
2. Give them a more difficult puzzle like one of the harder ones in that set. Ideally one that they will have to struggle with, but will eventually solve. Especially if it has a deceptively simple “Looks like it doesn't fit, but then it does” solution.
    
3. Give them this as yet another puzzle to solve
    
4. After a sufficient amount of agony has occurred, say “April Fools!”
