Wow, thank you all so much for your support! I'm really thrilled that this desktop fan has attracted so much attention—especially considering this is my first attempt at 3D CAD design in my life. At that time, I urgently needed a new desktop fan at my company. I had just started learning Fusion 360, and I happened to have a spare 70mm computer cooling fan and a 12V transformer on hand. So I had a brilliant idea: Why not design a bladeless fan myself? This fan is not only easy to print and assemble, but even the wiring is almost the most basic operation.
Assembly steps:
- Fix the computer fan inside the base and firmly embed its bracket into the base.
- Pass the electric wire through the threading hole on the bracket.
- I welded the wires of the fan and the transformer to a switch
- Gently insert the inner shell of the fan into the outer shell of the fan. There's no need for additional adhesion. Just align the tabs, and you can easily snap it into place and secure it firmly.
- Finally, install the entire fan inner/outer shell into the base—it's so simple!
