This barn is one of two Saxon-style barns/livestock sheds specifically designed for 28mm wargaming scenarios. Of course, this style is almost universally applicable to various historical periods from the Middle Ages to later eras - even up until people started using metal frames to build barns. I've made two in total: one intended for high-end landlords, likely wealthy monks in monasteries; the other aimed at more rustic townsfolk - with the same design but using slightly coarser wood and a thatched roof.
