I need a small storage box to hold nozzles and heat shields. The ready-made solutions on the market either have sizes that don't meet my needs, the wrong number of nozzle holes, redundant logos printed on them, or various other issues. So I quickly designed a model I liked in Tinkercad.
The photo shows the original design plan. Although I can use it myself, if I look at it carefully, there are still many small flaws.
I added a frame to the heat insulation baffle in the design and reinforced ribs on the box lid. This not only makes it easier to open and close, but also effectively enhances the stability of the overall structure.
I have uploaded a total of two versions:
- Aperture of 6 mm - the nozzle can be precisely screwed in and firmly fixed, with a tightly interlocked thread;
- Aperture of 7 mm - the nozzle can be freely inserted, and its positioning and fixation are achieved solely by the box lid.
To prevent the internal parts from shaking in the box, I, like myself, pasted a layer of foam plastic on the box lid as a cushioning pad.
