A spool holder with support for 608 bearings for smoother operation and just using a simple cylinder like a normal spool when needed, also fits spools with holes of down to 30mm!

I originally made this because often the spool holders I would find online just would not fit SUNLU 250g PETG rolls, so I made my own version, hope this helps somebody else.

Printing instructions

Print the Base, and Holder, and optionally the Bearing Clip if you plan to use bearings

• Base.stl: Can be printed like normal
  • I printed with 3 walls, and 12% cubic infill
• Holder.stl: Should hold 1kg+ of weight, recommend printing with higher infill
  • I used 5 walls and 30% cubic infill
• Bearing Clip.stl: Holds the bearings in place, can be printed like normal
  • I printed with 3 walls, and 12% cubic infill

Assembly

Slot the bearings into the Holder, then put the Bearing Clip through the center

Other things

There are 4x 5mm holes separated from each other 40mm at the bottom of the base for attaching the holder onto other printed things

Final notes

Personally I have tested this spool holder with an extra base attachment, increasing the bottom area and making the holder more stable, so it may just fall over if you put the spool in an extreme position!
