Just a plain hook for my specific use case, hanging a calendar off to the side to maximize the use of the SKADIS panel.

It is attached using a couple of M3 screws (tapered) and this nut adapters. 

The final result is a little wobbly as expected, but sturdy enough for not-so-heavy objects.
