A simple magnetic mount to hold a small hygrometer inside translucent storage totes. No cutting or permanent mods needed.

Includes STLs for 12×2 mm, 10×2 mm, and 8×2 mm magnets

12×2 mm magnets tested and recommended (strongest hold)

OpenSCAD file included so you can adjust magnet size or tweak for your own hygrometer

Print Settings

Printed with Inland PLA at 0.2 mm layer height

Other layer heights and materials should work fine

No supports required

How to Use

Insert 4 magnets into the mount (fits tight, but I added a dab of CA glue to hold them securely)

Place 4 matching magnets on the outside of the tote wall

Together, the 8 magnets sandwich the tote wall and hold the mount in place
