Gridfinity rebuilt bins can hold magnets with friction-fit only, without glue. Inserting the magnets can be a bit finicky though, especially if the model is configured to hold them snug. This jig makes inserting magnets easy. Each magnet only takes a few seconds.

The model has two parts: A base to hold the bin and a stack of magnets, and a pushpin that pushes the magnet into the bin. The base can be printed without supports, the pushpin needs a support.

The workflow:

1. Place bin

2. Insert stack of magnets in the right orientation

3. Push down firmly on magnet stack while the pin is outside

4. Push the pin into the model firmly

5. Rotate the bin 90° and repeat until all four magnets are inserted.
