If you're an old school hardware guy like me... having components and boards just sitting out on the workbench hot (with power)... you may be a bit nervous. ESD... spilled coffee or just a tap from a screw driver and the pink smoke comes out. You don't want to let the smoke out of your electronics or...they won't work anymore. Apparently, they run on smoke! So, since I'm new to 3D printing and Raspberry Pi and all their very cool stuff... I decided to make a simple little case for my Picos. I used a nice SCAD box maker (see link below) and then tinkered a bit (pun intended) in Tinkercad. Not sure I could call it a "remix" but I really like the custom case SCAD builder. Very handy!

Here's is a simple little case with access for micro USB and 40 pin header on a breadboard. Like I said... I'm new so be gentle. :-). I also have a version without the cutouts for the GPIO pins. Since I have a couple of Picos... one with Micro Python and one with Circuit Python, figured it would be nice to have cases to label. Nice for transport as well. I've also included my Tinkercad OBJ file as well so... Tinker away!

Infill doesn't mater much since there isn't much. I did .1mm since it's such a small part. I'm sure higher will work just fine. I'm very happy with the eSun PLA +.

I'm using Cura to Slice with a custom PLA+ profile I've tweaked.

Created the box using the SCAD file in link. SCAD is pretty sweet. I like that it's free and they have Linux/Raspi version. I'm running on a specific Buster image and it's works great on Raspi 4B 8gb.

Then, I used Tinkercad for the cutouts for header pins and USB and removed the lid strap.
