This adapter snaps into a Creality spool to give a shoulder or rim so that the spool can be used with any hanger that requires a lip or rim to roll on. An example of this would be my hanging spool roller here. The last pic here shows it in action. Just remember to remove the adapter when your spool runs out so you don't throw it away!
