I designed this caliper style scale for my GEEETECH i3 printer so I am able to tune screw for Z axis switch when I change to different bed platform or nozzle that is different hight of previous one...
I still have to do some fine tuning afterwards but this scale helps me get to this final stage of fine tuning faster and easily...
I printed both objects with 0.5 nozzle and with support.
I could have played with changing filament at the final stage of print for upper black stripes of scale but I didn't. I used fine black permanent marker to do this....it works fine for me.
Objects could be shorter and its shape a little bit more optimised. Maybe I will do it in the future but I doubt it....
