A rebuild of my other tool head cover, this time optimized for weight. It should be assembled with glue, after using a file or knife to clean up any imperfections from the dovetail joints. First attach the side to the front, then add the top. Adding the top first will complicate assembly, as the joints were oriented for installing the top last.
There are two extra holes for attaching the cooling duct, as I have found it likes to tilt otherwise. I use M2 cap head screws.
(4) M2x6 for attaching the duct
(3) M2x8 for attaching the side fan
(2) M2x16 for installing the blower fan
There is an included washer for affixing the blower, print two.
For comparison, the X-Plus 3 version of this cover weights about 8 grams, and the original factory cover weighs 21 grams.
