Summary
This is a medium duty battery post / terminal. "Proper" automotive terminals where too much money, and I don't need to provide that much power. The little bench supply terminals were too light duty. So I made these.
The "post" is a 3/16 inch threaded rod. The hole in the metal is 3/8". I happened to have a couple special threaded rods with 1/4" nut built into the middle. I glued a 5/16" nut into the caps to thread them on. They should cover the post to minimize moisture.
I have located the RV battery for our tent trailer inside (where the water tank used to be - we never used the sink), however, I still need/want a way to connect solar, accessories, chargers, etc to the battery. The wires on the hitch were loose and always a bit concerning. I printed these in red and black and installed them on our hitch.

How I Designed This
Forced myself to use OnShape to make this. I'm hitting the limits of Tinkercad and need to grow up a little.
