Have you ever wanted a 2 person champagne flute? Maybe you just wanted 2 glasses but for one hand? Have you also seen the inconvenience store meme? Well Hopefully you answered yes to one of those because I have the answers for all of them!

Originally named “the uncomfortable champagne glasses” but I was given this name instead and I absolutely loved it.

This is the final abomination of the aforementioned meme. Modelled with a larger diameter stem for better rigidity whilst printing along with a wider base to keep things on the bed whilst printing.

Print settings

Layer height: 0.14-0.24, I used 0.14 for a nice smooth finish.

Walls: 2-4, I used 4 to keep the stem as strong as possible.

Infill: 10-20% This really only effects the stem as the flutes are only 2mm thick if memory serves correct. I used 15%

Supports: Tree/organic supports recommended, depending on your machine and its cooling capabilities they should be minimal. mainly at the base of the arch and the bottom of the flutes. 

Material: Dealer's choice, it is a strictly decorative print. I used PLA.

Print speed: The flutes are thin and will require a slower speed while printing, especially during the bottom radius, too fast (like I started) and you will get some wonky layers. Honestly this goes hand in hand with your cooling capabilities. Slow and steady will yield the best results. 

This is a strictly decorative print and should not be used to drink from. It will be impossible to sanitize regardless of layer adhesion. Micro cracks and gaps exist.
