Inspired by this design http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1815585 from gmelenka I decided to make a guitar holder that will fit my acoustic guitars.

The top surface of the mount where the guitar will hang is slightly rounded to make sure the guitar doesnt get damaged and I've added an end stop to ensure the guitar doesnt fall off.

Try and get the outward facing 45degree angle to be lying flat for the build - this will give you a nice shiny outward facing face and make sure that the piece is stronger (plane of layers not parallel to main force)
