Wave machine for demonstrating the propagation of mechanical waves in physics lessons.

Phenomena that can be visualized: Propagation speed, reflection, standing waves.

To use, simply deflect the first oscillator with your hand. Either give only one impulse to show the propagation, or let it oscillate continuously to show standing waves. 

Assembly:

At least 20 oscillators, each with two caps and the corresponding base, are required for assembly.
You can print several bases and then simply position them next to each other.
The base must be mounted on a wooden strip, for example.
The oscillators are connected with a rubber cord (2 mm).
