This is an orb to be used as a top for a maleficent-staff, that I made for my daughters halloween costume e few years back.

I printed it in luminescent pla and inserted some rgb LEDS and a microcontroller into the orb, so that you can make it glow and change colors.

The orb was glued to an old broomstick, that we covered with papertowl dipped in water and woodglue to add strtucture to the staff. afterwards we painted the staff black andadded some gold glitter.

My picture isnt the best but the result is great, it looks especially good when the orb glows in the dark.

I thought about making a hollow model in two parts that you can unscrew, so that you can get into the electronics (i glued mine), but i havent gotten around to do a remake of yet.
