Summary

The pump that I got for my Intex above ground pool needed adapters. While I wait for those to arrive I just elevated the pump and dropped the hoses into the pool.

This is a 1.5" inner diameter threaded strainer attachment for the intake hose to prevent it from taking in large debris. Remix from a number of models on Thingiverse.

I added a version 2 (labelled v2) which should allow more water flow, I found the first version was quite restrictive. The second has less width on the walls and a circular pattern rather than linear.
