SD card holder modeled after the Datacard which carried the Death Star Plans in Rogue One and A New Hope.
The tray which holds the SD cards is held in place with enough resistance that it won't come out accidentially.
It is 88mm long, 51mm wide and 5mm thick.
Trays
There are three different trays.
- "data_card-sd cards tray" holds 3 SD cards
- “data_card-mixed tray” holds 2 SD cards and 4 micro SD cards
- “data_card-micro sd tray” holds 12 micro SD cards
You can also use the parts to assemble your own custom tray.
The parts for this are “data_card-[sd card/micro sd] tray [front/middle/back]”.
The parts are assembled in your slicer and then printed as one piece.
In PrusaSlicer, start by adding one part, then right-click it → “Add Part” → "load…" → select the other two parts.
Print Instructions
You will always need “data_card-sd cards frame”.
Printed at 0.15mm layer height with ironing enabled. There are four filament changes.
“data_card-sd cards frame” needs supports on buildplate.
- White, initial color. For the back surface.
- Black, starting at 3.65mm. For the circuitry.
- Gold, starting at 4.10mm. For the circle/gear in the middle.
- White, starting at 4.55mm. For most of the front surface.
- Black, starting at 5.00mm. For the bar at the bottom.
At 0.15mm layer height every new color will be used for three layers.
All filament changes are present in the presliced files.
