Do you want to modularly un-gridfinity your gridfinity? No problem, just slap these covers on and your grdifinity base plate will look like the wide, unorganized, flat(-ish) surface full of possibilities it was before once again.

Why the heck would you want to do that?

• Aesthetics - you want to cover unpopulated slots because you don't like looking at the ridges and magnets
• You want a modular even flat surface to put things on top of in an unorganized flexible manner

Either or both while still keeping the option to put a piece of modular gridfinity organization there!

Model details

Holes for magnets on the bottom are included - diameter: 6.5mm, depth: 2.5mm. They also fit m3 nuts that I had on hand.

Photos commentary

Photos show the version with height according to spec but the base that it is on is a little rough/messy (3rd photo shows the “before”). There is the shortened version for those cases (if you want to shorten it even more, it is super easy to do in PrusaSlicer or other slicer - just split the model at desired height and keep the bottom only)

4th photo showcases a temporary placement of an object that otherwise lives somewhere else.
