How I Designed This
Game Ripper
I used a free version of Ninja ripper (1.7.1) found here: https://gamebanana.com/tools/5638
once its installed i used the DX11 Wrapper, checked the command for a Forced rip (important!) and launched the game, (if it doesnt boot just close ninja ripper and start it manually, if you used the wrong wrapper you have to delete it first)
Game
First i made a Sandbox Save file in Dyson sphere program
Then i placed the structure that i wanted.
last i pressed the forced rip button and the game will freeze for a few seconds, once it unfreezes you can close the game.
.RIP file now what? Noesis
to open and convert the rip file i used noesis: https://www.richwhitehouse.com/index.php?content=inc_projects.php&showproject=91
download the zip and install.
Once opened, go to the location of the zipped rip files and open them 1 by 1 (it could be a few 1000 files but the key is to look for the larger files bigger than 20Kb)
click export and select destination, fill in the file name AND the file type, make sure to select the correct file format too and hit export.
Blender/Netfabb to Fix the Vertices.
hold on your print is almost ready,
Due to how game models work you have to check if there are no holes on the model, you can either:
A, manually fix them in Blender
B, use the built in Feature in prusa (recommended)
A: there are plenty tutorials of blender online.
B: simply imposrt the file from PC, once loaded on the buildplate you right click and fix through Netfabb. once its complete you are ready to print (Or you can right click again and export it to a different slicer.
