I made a box for some electronics like the 5V power supply and my power strip relais. The walls of the box are solid. So yout have to drill some holes depending on the diameter of your cable. The box can be hidden behind your desk.
Important!
The SAMD21 works on 3.3V logic so the hall effect sensor must be powered to the 3.3V pin on the board.
The neopixels work on 5V logic but in my setup I have no issues controlling them with 3.3V logic.
P.S. I thing aceton is the best glue for PLA
