This is a OpenSCAD script to add hair to your existing .STL models. Just edit the script, read the instructions inside the .scad file, import your model, print and become an hairdresser. You also need to know a bit of OpenSCAD, just edit the text file variables, press F6 and export STL. it is actually easy!! come on!! Remember that the .STL for the import command should be centered or you'll have to center yourself in the script with the convenient translate command included in the example, otherwise just delete the translate command or comment it out. A customizer can't be done because you have to provide a local file for the .STL model. So you have to install and run OpenScad to load the script and your models.

I designed this when I saw some inspiring models out there and thought it should be cool to add some hair to your favoirite models. Included are some models, one of a hairy Marvin and a simple hairy tree. Make your own and let us see!! Don't add support at print time as the hair should print over the air.

Two hairized examples provided. My strong Marvin and a simple tree. Included original models for testing. Editing the script you can create a pie cylinder for partial hairizings like the shown in the Marvin model with or without the surrounding wall. Printing without the surrounding wall is convenient when you want the 'dropped hair' effect, this way the hair tends to drop down (in this case the faster you print the more the hair drops due to hotter and softer material).
