Here's a little soap dish that is about the right size for the soap bars people tend to pinch from hotels.

It has elevated supports to ensure the soap does not retain water. To assist with this it also has a sloping floor and a spout that helps direct the water into the basin.

The elevated supports a profiled so the slippery soap slides into the centre of the dish rather than off to one side.
