Blender Keychain (Image-Based)

This keychain was created using JointLab’s image-based keychain generation system inside Blender. The model was generated directly from an image, testing how fast and simple it is to turn 2D visuals into printable 3D objects.

It’s part of the development process, showing how the tool can automatically convert images into clean, usable geometry ready for printing.

JointLab is a Blender addon currently in development, focused on automating complex steps. It includes tools for articulations, connectors, image-based keychains, and model painting, all in a more direct workflow.

This example is mainly to explore how accessible it can be to create custom objects without needing advanced modeling skills, especially when working from images.

The goal is to simplify the process and turn Blender into a faster prototyping tool for everyday creations.
