This is a simple part to control the coil of wire from my mouse. The part clamps onto the keyboard tray of my desk behind the keyboard. The mouse cable is coiled around the central circular part, and is held in place by the two small clamping features on the side.

Other parts you will probably want:

• Heat set inserts, Qty: 2 (McMaster P/N: 93365A140).
• Screws, #8-32, .5" Length. I used stainless socket head cap screws like these because I had them around. If you need to buy somthing, getting thumb screws like these might be nicer.

The clamping features also have slots so that a ziptie could be used to hold the mouse cable. I was originally going to use a zip tie, but the spacing of the clamp ended up being perfect to hold my mouse cord, so I did not bother with the zip tie.

The part clamps to the back of the keyboard tray of my desk, which is approximately .75" thick. The bottom of the part has holes that are sized for #8-32 heat set threaded inserts. These inserts are pretty easy to install, just push them into the plastic with the hot tip of a soldering iron. Just don't try to go too fast.

I recommend printing in the vertical orientation as shown in the Cura pictures. Supports are required.
