I finally figured out a way to attach a hose behind my dehumidifier (instead of using manual drainage), and I wanted something to at least keep spiders from crawling into the hose😂😐 So I designed this sliding cap/filter/insect-proof cover for the hose. I used a damaged hose and cut off the broken part, so it might be a niche product, but hey, that’s why we have a 3D printer, right?!

This hat can be fitted tightly onto standard garden hoses, but not onto the threaded end; it can only be used on the rubber hose section.
