This model also has a gap of 0.126mm to achieve a smoother and more stable installation. Therefore, the size of the shelf socket is technically 18.126mm.

It is worth noting that, as you can see in the photos, the model is not directly attached to the bottom surface of the build plate. I believe the hanging angle will depend on the strength of the material being used. I am using Gembird PETG, and as you can see, the suspension condition is fairly good (about 5 mm away from the edge of the build plate).
