Modular Honeycomb Drawers

This is a set of modular honeycomb drawers.

They stack on top of one another via hexagonal feet and indents.

They are designed to hold A6 and A5 documents (especially zines), and also serve as a set of versatile desktop organisers.

Dimensions

The small tray (A6 plus) has an internal dimension of 112mm x 155mm x 58.5mm.

The big tray (A5 plus) has an internal dimension of 236mm x 155mm x 58.5mm.

The small drawer (A6 plus) has an external dimension of 123mm x 162mm x 69.5mm (including 1.5mm feet).

The big drawer (A5 plus) has an external dimension of 247mm x 162mm x 69.5mm (including 1.5mm feet).

Printing

Print in PLA with 15% 3D honeycomb infill. (It should also work with PETG and other similar materials, but they have not been tested.)

Please print the STLs in the orientations they are provided.

Material required (based on PLA and 15% 3D honeycomb infill):

Drawer (A6 plus) - 72g

Tray (A6 plus) - 69g

Drawer (A5 plus) - 122g

Tray (A5 plus) - 124g

Note: For the A5 plus drawer and tray, increase bed temperature by 5-10°C to minimise warping.
