​From the Nether to the shelf the Ghast

​There’s something surreal about seeing one of Minecraft’s most iconic (and loudest) mobs sitting perfectly still in the real world. This project began with a custom 3D model—the Cool Wolt.stl—and has been transformed into a centerpiece that captures the hauntingly blocky aesthetic of the Nether’s resident phantom.

​The Details

​The Model: A high-fidelity recreation of the Ghast, featuring its signature 4x4x4 block head and those dangling, eerie tentacles.

​The Palette: We’ve moved away from the initial blue prototype to the Classic Ghast Slate. It features a clean, matte-white base accented by the pixelated grey "tear" tracks and somber expression we all know and love.

​The Setting: Standing straight and true on a weathered wooden shelf, it fits right in with its blocky kin. It’s the perfect blend of digital nostalgia and physical craftsmanship.

​A Little Nether Atmosphere

​While it’s much quieter than its digital counterpart, it still carries that unmistakable "don't-get-too-close" energy. No fireballs, no screeching—just a clean, vertical, and perfectly leveled addition to the collection.
