I use digital caliper regularly and decided to switch to AAA supply. For this purpose, the instrument was disassembled, measured, and the case and cover were drawn in Solidworks. All parts were printed by silver PLA from REC. Pads with "+" and "-" were found on the PCB, to which thin wires are soldered. As battery contacts, I used a spring contact from a used and disassembled IR remote control, the tips of which were carefully tinned.
