The Exponential Egg is a very nice looking egg-shaped graph of a mathematical relation. This relation is most likely not the real mathematical definition of the shape of a bird egg, but that graph definitely looks satisfying once printed. It even comes with a 10×10×10cm box that has the equation written on its inside.
The formula of this shape is 3x²+3y²+z²+0.1^z≤1 (hence the name „Exponential Egg“) for x and y from -0.672 to 0.672 and z from 0 to 1.344.
Math Models are graphs of mathematical relations that you can 3D print to bring them from the world of mathematics into real space, getting cool decorations. You can also download the stl files and use these models as part of your own 3D model.
A total of 8 models will come out over the course of 7 weeks, with the first two models having come out both duing the first week. Every Wednesday from June 3. until July 15. you can expect a new Math Model to be released.
The bgcode file is for printing the model out of PLA.
