Printing Recommendations 🖨️

Due to the high level of detail and overhangs (especially in the beard and suspenders), printing technology and settings that allow for capturing the fine details of the sculpture are recommended.

For Resin Printing (SLA/DLP):

Recommended: Highly recommended! Resin technology is ideal for capturing the muscles and fine details of the beard.

Layer Height: 0.05 mm (50 microns) for better surface detail.

Supports: Required, especially under the beard, arms, hands, and the brim of the hat. Use fine-tip, medium-density supports.

Orientation: Print slightly tilted (approximately 10-20 degrees) to minimize layer lines and improve drainage/support.

For Filament Printing (FDM):

Layer Height: 0.12 mm or 0.16 mm for a good balance between detail and print time.

Nozzle: 0.4 mm. Consider a 0.25 mm nozzle if you prioritize detail over speed.

Supports: Essential. Set supports to Tree for easy removal. Placement under the chin, on the suspenders, and along the bottom edge of the figure.

Infill: 10-15% (Cube or Gyroid pattern).

Recommended Material: PLA or PETG.
