Summary
This game design included here is in a book I've written, Cycle Zoo, Bikes for the 21st century. As a small gesture of support, please buy the book! Links to book through http://modularbikes.com.au/ , and see also https://www.cyclingboardgames.net/g_cyclechallenge.htm Thanks!
This is a six sided dice made up of an individual interlocking part for each side. The interlocking is just enough to hold the parts in place and a rubber band is needed to hold the dice together. Dice sides can be any combination of numbers 1 to 6. For some background see my blogpost at https://tribo3d.blogspot.com/2019/12/modular-dice.html .
I am using coloured No. 16 rubber bands which I wrap round the cubes twice. If you don't have different coloured filaments, then the rubberband colour can be used to distinguish between dies with different face combinations.
Update, Jan 31, 2023, I have added a boardgame which can be used to complement the customisable 3d printed dice, it is the downloadable pdf file in this Thing. Most of the work was done on this game about 10 years ago, and I haven't substantially updated it so it uses 2d cad and printing to make figurines. For 3d cad bike figurines to go with the game, you can use the STL files at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3359741 . These are the ones I designed, but I am sure there are others out there on the internet. Thingy. Somewhere
