I made this door handle with a suction cup because I needed a way to close the patio door from the outside when the air conditioner was on in the summer.

I'm posting this in case it's useful to others. The main difficulty might be finding a suitable suction cup. I bought mine at a local hardware store. I've posted a photo of the suction cup I used.
