The goal of this is to create a little light that can be used on top or to the side of the light and pull power from the system. I used simple LED strip lights I had on hand from another project, as well as barrel jack connectors and a switch. This means that the wiring for the original system needs to be changed to accommodate this accessory circuit. The color of the light will vary on the LED lights used. The light is then diffused using 3mm acrylic sheet that I had on hand from some packaging, but anything that fits into the slot can be used. The slot is 4mm tall.
