This is a precision-engineered replacement part for the Victor Reader Stream 3. Over time, the internal rubber power button rubber insert can wear out or perish, making it impossible to turn the device on or off. Instead of discarding an expensive piece of assistive technology, this tiny insert restores full tactile function to the power button.
Key Features:
-Device Saver: Specifically designed to replace the failed rubber component, extending the life of the Victor Reader.
-Tactile Response: Provides a firm, reliable "click" once installed, making the power button easy to locate and activate by touch.
-Micro-Scale Design: An incredibly efficient print that uses a negligible amount of filament to perform a critical repair.
Printing & Installation Tips:
-Resolution is Critical: Due to the tiny scale (less than a 4mm cube), I strongly recommend printing at very thin layer heights (0.1mm or lower) for the best fit.
-Orientation: Ensure your bed adhesion is dialed in; a "brim" may be helpful to keep such a small part stable during the print.
-Installation: Carefully open the device housing to remove the power button. Scrape out the old perished rubebr and place the insert inside. A pair of fine tweezers is recommended for positioning.
