This is a screw guide for the resistor module for a first generation Mini Cooper with the automatic environmental control (if you have three dials for your air/heat, you do not need this, this is only if you have the auto environment with the dial and buttons).
This resistor pack is in the right side footwell, against the body in the top left of the foot well. Due to placement, it's extremely hard to get out. Once you remove the wires, you can put this over the plug area on the resistor (with the square top up) and it will help you keep your flexible screwdriver in the right orientation (which is the only way I could figure to get it out, since it's facing the body). The screw is a T-20 (not a T-15 as some sites say). When mounting the new one, I used thin strips of 3M tape instead of putting the screw back in.
