Summary
I wanted to use the chonkier, bigger wheels for my X axis (as I have the room to spare on my particular D-Bot), but I wanted to keep the cooling fan from the BMG carriage and be able to swap between E3Dv6 and a Volcano. This design combines attributes of the two designs into one.
Arudinne's BMG mount also is too thin for 35mm but too thick for 30mm, so the facing side was reduced to ~2.5mm to allow for the stock M3x30 screws to be used.
I also countersunk the M4 bolts on the stabilizers to make it easier to fit the fan on the back and went with heat-set M3 inserts instead of trapped nuts.
FreeCAD (0.20) design file included so that the various holes may be adapted for whatever hardware is in use. Recommended to use countersunk M4 parts, at least for securing the back stabilizer block so that it doesn't interfere with the part fan mount.
If a really short NEMA17 motor is used, it should be possible to pull the mount back against the plate more. Arudinne's BMG mount used this space to mount a BLTouch probe, but that's not something I currently need to use.

Use 5 perimeters, you want maximum rigidness.
Post-Printing
Use 4 heat-set inserts (~4.2mm) on the back piece to permit mounting the Makerbot-style endstop and the part fan.
Use M4 socket cap machine screws.
Ream all M5 and M4 holes as needed. Assemble with M5 bolt heads on the back plate instead of the front plate.
