I find the small black knobs for attaching the mount/arm to the tripod for my Celestron NexStar 5se to be hard to use. They are small, and have poor access/clearance.
So these are knob extensions that fit over the existing knobs with a push. If desired, they can be glued in place. They do not obstruct the tripod spreader/eyepiece holder. They do not obstruct/contact the legs when spread/deployed. They do not obstruct the legs when the legs are brought together for transport/storage. With these, I find it easier to "find" the holes for the screws, and to tighten or loosen them.
I printed three, and will leave them on but unglued for now. You could just print one and use them one at a time.
