The y-endstop PCB on the magicphoenix (MPX) Voron 2.4r2 kit hits the umbilical cord and prevents the umbilical mount on the gantry from sitting flush and secure.
A lot of folks use sensorless homing so the y-endstop is not needed. However, the PCB also includes the chamber thermistor so we don't want to throw out the whole thing. Since we are just using the PCB as a chamber thermistor we can locate it anywhere. This model lets your mount the unmodified PCB anywhere on a 2020 extrusion.
Bill of Materials (BOM):
2x M3x6 BHCS (longer OK within reason)
1x M3x8 SHCS
1x M3 T-nut
2x M3x5x4 heat insert (voron standard,:5mm OD, 4mm depth)
Instructions:
Print mount with standard voron print settings and supports
Install the heat inserts into the standoffs
Attach the PCB with the M3x6 screws. The switch should face away from the mount, and in that orientation it will only fit one way.
Install the T-nut in the 2020 extrusion (orientation may matter for a roll-in nut so it doesn't interfere with the part of the mount that fits inside the extrusion). I elected to put the PCB on the gantry right next to the cable chain.
Fit the mount into the extrusion and affic using the M3x8 screw into the T-nut.
Connect the wires to the PCB
