The original winch for the elevator on the children's playground is octagonal. My little son couldn’t easily wind the entire elevator with one hand. I decided that this would be my first design project!

Printed with organic supports. Assembly requires two screws and a piece of filament to secure the axle.

The model is very specific. It is designed for the parking lot that can be purchased here: Wooden multi-level garage withelevator and helipad.

I’m aware that not many people will find this useful, but I wanted to try modeling based on a real-life object using calipers.

I’d greatly appreciate any feedback on the design – there’s always room to learn and improve!
