Project Description:

This circuit is designed for automatic light control when opening a cabinet or similar enclosure.

Components Used:

Reed switch (MKA-14103) – Detects door opening/closing.

Mounting bracket (2x14 mm) – Secures the reed switch.

Magnet (6x2 mm) – Attached to the moving part (door).

2N7000 MOSFET – Switches the light on/off.

Additional: An 8mm drilled hole for mounting.

Implementation Notes:

The area around the reed switch can be encapsulated with hot glue (as I did) for stability and protection against dust/moisture.
