The back panel of the Kaypro 10 incorporates a power cord that can be stored on the clips mounted to the machine.  This model is of one of those clips; four are attached to the back of the Kaypro.

From service manuals and parts lists, the fastener is:

• Screw: #6-32 x 1/2″ pan-head machine screw (Phillips)
• Nut: #6-32 hex nut (with or without lock washer)

The thread pitch is standard UNC (coarse) #6-32.

If you don’t have a #6-32 screw on hand, an M3.5 metric screw is close, but it’s always better to stick with #6-32 since that’s what the threaded holes and nuts were cut for.

This vintage computer, Kaypro 10, utilizes the Z80A processor and runs at a speed of 4 MHz. It had 64K of RAM,  2 KB of ROM, and a 10 MegaByte hard disk drive. 

The Kaypro 10 was introduced in 1983 and priced at $2795. It was built by Non-Linear Systems in Solana Beach, CA.
