Download the model to your computer or open it in the Handy app. I recommend downloading and opening it so you can remove the clear lines
Confirm whether there are enough AMSs to handle all the colors. I do my best to keep my lights to 4 colors or less, but sometimes this is impossible and a second AMS is needed. Alternatively, you can set up a pause and perform manual filament swaps, but you'll need to research how to do this yourself, as I'm not very good at it.
Make sure your filament colors are in the correct AMS slots corresponding to the model. Tip: I usually arrange my colors in alphabetical order because I'm a bit quirky that way. Just be careful with wildcards like "light blue".
All of my models come with two different back panels. For those who want to hang the lamp on the wall, there will be a hole. The other one won't have a hole, which is for those of you who will place the lamp on a table, desk, or even on a cat. You don't need to print two back panels
I strongly recommend using textured PEI boards, as this will do a great job in hiding print lines, which is the purpose of these print adjustments. But you can use any fancy plate you want - again, I'm not a mom.
Once you've set up AMS and everything is ready, click on the big 'PRINT' button on the light face, and then on your back panel. I recommend disabling traffic calibration.

All I can do is offer some suggestions. Firstly, there are several types of LEDs commonly used in these types of lamps. The first is the basic LED strip, which is a roll of circuit board tape with a sticky back end. These are the simplest and easiest to use. Next is the so-called COB strip, which is basically the same, but not with an LED per inch, it has a solid light band. Then there's the neon COB, which is self-explanatory. There are also LED dome bulbs, which you can apply directly to the back
No matter what you choose, you need to look for the following:
- A method of powering things. USB, DC, solar panels, steam engines - it doesn't matter, as long as you can turn it on and off.
Most LED bulbs have areas that can be safely cut with scissors, as long as you cut along the indicated area accurately. Once you make the cut, the part of the LED bulb that is still connected to the power supply will function, but the rest will no longer work
A method of fixing the strip to the inside of the lamp. Most LED lamps come with an adhesive surface, but not all of them do - make sure you know what you're buying. In a pinch, hot glue will do the trick.
A 1-meter LED strip is usually long enough, but some LEDs do exceed this length.
Test each strip before applying it.
All of my lamps have a hole on the side of the casing, which is just large enough to fit through the LED strips
This is optional, but I recommend applying a bit of hot glue every inch or so to secure the strips more tightly inside the case.
Now you're ready to close the lamp. Take the back panel you printed earlier and align it with the front panel. All of my back panels have a lip to help secure it, and it's a tight friction fit. This helps keep the two halves together without having to glue them, which allows you to reopen it when you need to fix the LEDs. Once it's aligned, squeeze the two halves together, applying pressure only to the outer edges. This is the method I use: I place the edge of the box between my thumb and forefinger, lock the rest of my fingers on top of it, and then squeeze it. As long as you're just squeezing on the EDGE, it will require amazing strength. I repeat this operation along the entire edge of the light until it fits tightly. Sometimes, for any difficult areas, a little sanding/trimming/pruning of the lips can help.
