Had a couple of these LED strips from amazon left over from another project, and decided to make some custom mounts to integrate a light with my printer. The original end caps for the top extrusion go back in place once these are installed. I printed using PETG because that is what I had loaded up, I'm sure any material will work great.

I pulled the original mounts off the lights, and these custom ones slide over the ends snugly. The hole for the button could have been a hair bigger, and I wasn't 100% sure where I was going to run the wires so I drilled a small hole for the wires after. The LEDs are powered from the printer power supply using an LM2596 buck converter to step down the voltage.
