Are you also sick and tired of those advertisement buttons on the bottom of TV remotes? Buttons to apps you never want to use but that cannot be remapped to stuff you'd actually like.

After accidentally pushing the Netflix or Disney+ button one too many times I'd had enough of it and ripped open the remote to get rid of that annoyance once and for all. I've created a little plate that prints in under 10 minutes and can be inserted between the rubber buttons and the PCB of the remote. This plate transfers the force of a button press away from the contact on the PCB.

Other buttons of the remote are unaffected! i.e. the red, green, yellow, and blue buttons directly above the blocked buttons can still be used.
